CORPORATE OVERVIEW

MANAGEMENT STRATEGY:
Peel Temp Services understands and appreciates that the needs of two customers are not the same, we have learned from our past personal experience how to provide customized solution through individualized programs for each and every customer.

Peel Temp Services process begins before we send an employee to a new client site. Peel Temp Services Human Resource Coordinator will tour the client’s facility prior to the commencement of work with the client. The tour is to gain thorough understanding of the skills required for the assignment, Knowledge of the work environment , nature of work, all the list of the clients wants and concerns.

Must be Fully cognizant of what it is the client is looking for; Peel Temp Services staff member (H.R.Personnel) is then able to begin the employee selection process.

All Peel Temp Services Temporary staff are regularly monitored while on assignment. Peel Temp's H.R Coordinator; calls and visits clients, ensur that the assigned workers are productive, that they are following all rules and regulations and that the client’s supervisory staff is satisfied.

PAYROLL/BILLING PROCEDURES FOR TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES:
Peel Temp Services is an employer that assumes full responsibility for paying the entire payroll associated costs of its temporary employees including E.I,CPP,EHT,WCB, vacation pay etc. independent contractors are asked to bill directly to Peel Temp Services to render their services and are paid directly to the consultants and truck drivers. In order for Peel Temp Services to pay temporary employees on time, the client must sign a temporary time sheet on a weekly basis. The clients signature is Peel Temp Service’s authorization to both pay the temporary for the hours indicated on the time sheet and to bill the client for these same hours.

GENERATION OF REPORTS:
Peel Temp Services has the capability of generating an array of reports that may be required by some of its clients. The flexibility of Peel Temp Services computer system, in conjunction with controller’s skills in disseminating information, enables peel Temp services to produce any type of reporting or invoicing required by its clients. Such reports might include summaries detailing the number of temporaries at a particular client site(s), the hours worked by these temporaries and the amount billed on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis per location or at multiple locations.

Peel Temp Services is proud to adhere to a strict code of ethics and business conduct.

Each and every one of Peel Temp Services candidates and applicants are treated fairly and professionally in accordance with the highest ethical and legal standards.

Peel Temp Services provides its clients with complete information regarding fees and guarantees. Peel Temp Services realizes the importance that its clients attach to working with a reliable employment agency that is experienced in dealing with personnel staffing needs. To this end, Peel Temp Services will only supply superior candidates who are capable of fulfilling the requirements of a particular assignment or position.

Peel Temp Services strives to place individuals in their chosen field of work based upon their respective skills, talents and abilities.

Under no circumstances will Peel Temp Services solicit employees from any of its clients for either temporary assignment or permanent positions with any other client company.

EVALUATION OF PEEL TEMP SERVICES PERFORMANCE AND SERVICE:
Upon placement of a temporary employee with a client company, the following procedures are carried out to ensure client satisfaction:
  • Within 15 minutes of scheduled arrivals time on the first day of an assignment, a call is placed with the client to ensure that the temporary employee has arrived on time and that there were no obvious immediate concerns. This “arrival call” enables Peel Temp Services to take swift action should there be any client concerns.
  • From time to time throughout the assignment, calls will be placed with the client to ensure continued satisfaction with the temporary staffing needs.
  • At the conclusion of every assignment, the client is requested to complete and return (in a prepaid and pre-addressed reply envelope) a performance evaluation reports assessing the temporary’s performance. It is these clients comments that enable Peel Temp Services to determine which temporaries are best suited for future assignments with that client and, perhaps with other client companies.
Peel Temp Services keeps in close contact with its clients from the moment an order is placed until the conclusion of the assignment. Peel Temp Service’s clients know that, should there be a specific performance issue with any of its temporaries, or ,should any aspect of its service fall short of expectations, Peel Temp Services will rectify the expeditiously and to the complete satisfaction of the client.

In addition, on a quarterly basis, all of Peel Temp Service’s clients are requested to complete and return an evaluation form requesting an assessment of Peel Temp Service’s overall performance in fulfilling the client’s staffing needs. It is the comments put forth by clients that permit Peel Temp Services to monitor, maintain and, where necessary, to improve its level of services to clients.

TRAINING PROGRAMS:
Throughout the year, Peel Temp Services personnel consultant and management participate in training sessions which include exposure to video, seminars, reading material and workshops. Training session topics include new trends in the employment industry, human rights, employment equity and many more. In addition, staff meetings are held once a week to review the events of the previous week and to solve as a team, any problem which may have arisen during that period.

REFERENCE CHECKING:
No applicant of Peel Temp Services is ever sent out on an assignment or job interview without at least 2 favorable reference checks. Questions are asked of previous employers to verify the applicant's work: history, job performance, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines, capacity and willingness to learn. As well as other questions that relate directly to the position for which the individual has applied.

RESPONSE TIME:
Peel Temp Services always strives to match a temporary staff upon client requests as quickly as possible. If a client has an urgent request for a temporary staff, the order is in most instances, filled and staff confirmed with the client within the hour to hour’s period. It is not uncommon for a temporary staff to be at the client site within two hours.

The average response time for matching and dispatching a temporary staff for a AZ/DZ drivers, General labors/Assembler is the following business day. When a client informs Peel Temp Services staff that the requirement is not immediate, the client is given a status on the progress of the search on a daily basis until a match is found.

PAY EQUITY:
Peel Temp Services has instituted all necessary pay adjustments as required by Ontario Pay Equity Legislation.
